Our Story

it felt right naming a business after my parents because they had given me the talents, skills, tools and confidence to make this happen. sadly, they are not around to see the outcome of their genetics and labor; they live on in the joy and that creating gives me and brings to others.

my mother, in particular, had an appreciation for the absurd. from handmade shrines for lost teeth, to vases made out of costume jewelry, mom had a way of finding the fun in everything. this is possibly why the monsters all have names and little facts, and the rock-n-rollers come with life stories.

after working for 25 years supporting college students through their educational and social journeys, it was time to shift course and spend more time creating. it also gives me more time to hang out with my dogs, Frances and Luke, and slow down.
